Digital Archive

A prolific collector, Lai Fun retained a large number of photos, documents and other collectibles from her life and travels. Many of these have been, or are in the process of being digitised.

As of July 2024, this digital archive is 1.43 terabytes in size and contains, among others:

• 11,521 printed photographs across 127 albums

• 2,266 photographs contained within 84 boxes of slide transparencies

• 3,752 documents, notes, letters, cards, postcards and other items of correspondence

• 24,959 digital photos retrieved from cloud and device backups

• numerous coin, stamp, thimble, spoon, jewellery and other decorative figurine collections

A special compilation on a USB drive was made and distributed to Lai Fun's nieces and nephews in September 2024.
